Fees
Fees
Our firm’s fees are calculated on an hourly basis or on a flat-fee basis.
These fees are determined taking into account your personal situation and various factors, such as the urgency, the interests at stake and the nature and complexity of the case.
In addition, in certain cases and always with your agreement, a contingency fee (‘success fee’) may be applied.
The costs incurred for services (secretarial fees, registered mail, etc.) are billed to the client as a percentage of the fees.
These services are subject to VAT.
Disbursements (bailiff’s fees, experts, court fees, etc.) will be advanced by the solicitor or paid directly in accordance with the initial agreement.
These services are not subject to VAT.
Legal protection insurance
If you have legal expenses insurance, please inform us at the first meeting. Even if you have such insurance, you remain responsible for payments and fees, as well as disbursements fixed in accordance with the agreement signed between the parties. However, we undertake to seek payment from the insurer as a matter of priority. In the event of refusal, you will be required to pay the fees without prejudice to any future disputes.
Legal aid office
If you meet certain criteria, you may be eligible for legal aid office. However, the firm reserves the right to decide whether to take on a case in this context. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please discuss this with your solicitor at the first meeting.
